Peace 04:01
You've been searching damn near lost your way but you're not alone. You've been reaching it feels so far away but you're not alone. We all need some peace. In the dead of night does he hold you tight? When you close your eyes am I by your side? I've got regrets I call them "better days when I was young" It's time to take time and walk on my own way and find a friend. 'Cause we all need some peace In the dead of night does he hold you tight? When you close your eyes am I by your side? When a sunny day is on your face do you ever wonder if I'm okay? Will I be okay? I'll find me some peace. In the dead of night does he hold you tight? When you close your eyes am I by your side? When a sunny day is on your face do you ever wonder if I'm okay? 'Cause I'm okay. I found me some peace. I found me.

Kerosene 03:10
I'll stay though there's too many weather changes in this place that I live for me but, I'll stay. I'll wait for the times that I've heard about peace deserved by a man in need. So I'll wait. I'll light a match for this whole damn place and I'll let it burn long enough to see your face one last time. I'll let you speak just to hear your sound before I throw it down to the kerosene covered ground I'll say it. I can think of twenty some reasons that this don't make sense to me but, I'll say it... That I prayed for the smile on your face, a new place where you could live in peace. Now, I'm wishing that I never really did. I'll light a match for this whole damn place and I'll let it burn long enough to see your face one last time. I'll let you speak just to hear your sound before I throw it down to the kerosene covered ground I'll go up like kerosene. I went up like kerosene.

I could fall right down and no one would hear a sound. I'm not doing so fine I'm alone all the time. A photograph of you leaves the light around two when I do. I can see life around. I can see how they move. I can see life around. I don't live like they do. I could stumble and choke as I walk all the way home. The door will let me in and the rail will lend a hand. I climb and sway my head as I fall to an empty bed. I can see life around. I can see how they move. I can see life around. I don't live like they do.

I'm Alive 03:01
I can't lie I'm getting tired of investing time and losing track of life. It's getting old, well so am I. It's getting hard to wake up from these endless nights. But I wake up to find that it's not the peace I mind. It's that I wake up to find I'm alive. If I could dream for all my life, I'd leave a weary mind and my troubles all behind. 'Cause you'd be there, so would I; without defeat. But these dreams are only mine. But I wake up to find that it's not the peace I mind. It's that I wake up to find I'm alive. You were there so long ago but, we had to watch you go.

about

This record was written over the years of 2012-13 through some of the roughest and most lovely times of our lives and was influenced by those trials, troubles and touching moments; From the loss of a dear friend, to the marriage of one of our own, we are thankful to have been given the time to write these songs in hopes to help those going through the same.
